Axis Bank Launches ACE Credit Card with Unlimited Cashback in Collaboration with Google Pay

Axis Bank one of the largest credit card issuers in India partnered with Google Pay India, to launch the Axis Bank ACE Credit Card. ACE Credit Card is powered by Visa Signature.

It’s an entry-level credit card from Axis Bank. The card runs on the Visa Signature platform and also enables contactless payment. ACE card designed with maroon abstract art on a black background.

ACE Credit Card Features and Benefits

  • Unlimited 5% Cashback: Cashback on bill payments (electricity, internet, gas, and more), DTH, and mobile recharge through Google Pay.
  • 5% Unlimited Cashback: BigBasket and Grofers (till 31st Dec 2020).
  • Unlimited 4% Cashback: on Swiggy, Zomato, and Ola
  • Unlimited 2% Cashback: on all other spends (Except fuel, EMI, wallet loads)
  • Lounge Access: 4 complimentary lounge access per year.
Axis Bank Google Pay ACE Credit Card

Axis ACE Credit Card is an entry-level credit card. Unlimited 5% cashback on bill payments and Unlimited 2% cashback on all other purchases place it ahead of all other cards available.

The ACE Credit card offers 4 complimentary lounge access per year on both domestic and international lounges.

Cashback earned for the purchases during a billing cycle will be credited in the next billing cycle 3 days before the statement generation date.

Joining Fees

Axis Bank ACE Credit Card comes with the following fees:

  • Joining fee: Rs. 499 + GST
  • Renewal fee: Rs. 499 + GST

The joining fee is reversed upon spending Rs. 10,000 within 45 days of card setup which seems quite reasonable. The renewal fee is also waived off on an annual spend greater than Rs. 2 Lakhs.

How to get an Axis Bank ACE Credit Card?

Currently, the Axis Bank ACE Credit Card is available to only select customers of Google Pay. However one can apply online for this credit card on the Axis Bank website too.

Drawbacks

Though Axis Bank Google Pay ACE Card is a fantastic entry-level card. It has some drawbacks.

  • There is no Joining offer.
  • For an entry-level card, the renewal fee waiver limit is too high, which is Rs. 2 lakhs

Bottomline

The 5% Unlimited cashback on bill payments makes the Axis Credit Card really attractive for beginners. Also, the 2% Unlimited cashback on all other spends makes it really unique. No other card available in the market provides that much cashback.

This card is for those who are searching for low fees and more rewards.
